Slinet combines best quality with easy use with highest flexibility and automation.
The modular system contains out of 3 modules with can be added flexible to the required setting. The cut to length unit SLINET S 1.5 allows precise cuttings with lowest set up time. With its full automated up to 8 knife setting the SLINET S 1.5 allows an automated adjustment for slitting. The cross cut is made by a new innovative roll knife. The system can be added by the automated 4 roll straightening unit. The next module which can be added is the full automated coil storage system.

Precise positioning by means of an innovative clamping system. Optionally expandable to up to 8 fully automatically positionable pairs of knives. No reference cut necessary thanks to automatic lifting of the upper cutterhead. Therefore no loss of length. Variable cutting gap and overlap adjustment per material ensures the best material-related cutting results.

Partial cut Partial cutting is available as an option and allows jobs to be optimally divided with minimal waste.

Cross cut The cross cut is performed using roller shears. The industry innovation: The cross cut is not done from above (as usual), but from below. This innovation prevents scratches on sheets that have already been cut, as the slightly raised edge points upwards when cutting. Equipment

Drive concept With the simultaneous control of several axes, a wide range of positioning operations can be carried out in parallel. In conjunction with the servo technology used, this creates unique dynamics that guarantee highly efficient motion sequences. The Slinet S1.5 operates fully electrically. Equipment

Label printer With the optionally available label printer, you can network your production and minimize the risk of errors. Information such as the profile name or order number can be placed on the label as required and individually. In conjunction with the Variobend Office version, a barcode can also be printed on the label to enable direct opening via a barcode scanner on the long folding machine. Profile characteristics (cutting K-factor, conical values) as well as parameters such as crowning settings or the bending sequence defined in the office are automatically transferred with the barcode. When scanned at the long folding machine, a completely finished profile opens. The application of up to 9 labels is also highly effective. The labels are placed on the conveyor belt during the sheet metal run-out. Up to 9 labels are then applied to the respective strips at the same time during cross-cutting. This system is highly efficient and fast.

SLINET Nesting software In order to produce even small batch sizes optimally and effectively, the Slinet optimizer can be used to combine several orders and optimize the cutting process. The optional partial cutting function makes it possible to automatically optimize and cut a wide range of lengths and widths of various orders with minimum waste. Various optimization methods are available. Information such as the number of pieces, material, width and length is transferred directly from the Variobend Office version, in which the bending sequence and conical dimensions can also be transferred via a barcode. If no software connection is available, it is possible to carry out manual optimization by means of list entry. Alternatively, optimization can be carried out by third-party software such as Bendex, NuIT or Sema after the profiles have been transferred. The optimizer therefore offers flexible use across different software solutions, enabling networked production, which in turn reduces the risk of errors and increases profitability.
